Here are some of my reviews for the recent onslaught of game demos. Some new, some old, all of them brief. Let’s face it, they’re just demos, I don’t feel like writing a lot, and you have a short attention span.
Halo Wars
If you’ve never been a fan of RTS games, especially console versions, Halo Wars won’t change that.
Watchmen: The End is Nigh
If you want to spend money on an over-priced arcade title with no replay value, go with Braid.
The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena
Butcher mindless drone soldiers to the soothing baritone of Vin Diesel’s voice.
Wheelman
Another game of GTA derivation with plenty of over-the-top accents.
Ninja Blade
I hope you like quick-time events!
Wanted: Weapons of Fate
Plays less like the movie and more like whack-a-mole with bullet-curving.
Call of Duty:World at War
I didn't know that you could have electric rock music in a World War II game.
