Comedy Central has officially announced that they will be picking up Futurama for another season. And yes, these next [26] episodes will be the first real continuation of the show since it was canceled in 2003 (if you don't count the straight-to-DVD movies). Fry and the rest are expect to return in mid 2010 on Comedy Central.An interesting thing to note here is that Twentieth Century Fox still reserves the right to run the new episode on network television first. This might mean that the series may return to network TV before it's cable debut.
